Bring your group to the rink for a discounted rate of $10/per person for groups of 10 guests or more.  Reservations are needed for groups of 20 or more. Skating Lessons

Private Lessons
Private lessons are available 7 days a week by appointment or on a  walk-in basis. Call 925-457-4119 OR 925-699-4969 to sign up for group or private lessons.

The Ice Skating Instructors are Independent Contractors and not employees of the Downtown Walnut Creek on Ice. The instructors are paid separately either by cash or check only; they do not accept any credit cards. All students must pay skate admission fee and have a valid wristband on before any instruction will be given.  Names and phone numbers of the Skating Instructors can be obtained from the Lesson information table that is located at Downtown Walnut Creek on Ice inside the large tent.

Birthday Party Packages

Celebrate that special birthday on the ice! Birthday Party Packages include admission and skate rental, table and chairs within the tent area, and a Party Host to assist the group. Parties are scheduled during regular public hours, Monday – Thursday for $120.00 (up to 10 guests) and Friday – Sunday for $160.00 (up to 10 guests). Field Trips

Field trips were never this COOL! Welcome all schools, scout troops, and students. Field trips at Downtown Walnut Creek on Ice are more than just a break from the classroom routine. There a unique experience that your students will remember for a lifetime. Field trips can be scheduled daily, Monday through Friday, at a special field trip price of $10 per student (including skate rental). 

Downtown Walnut Creek on Ice can typically handle two classrooms of the same age of children. Although we cannot guarantee to have sizes for everyone available all the time, we will monitor our skate inventory to help us get ready to help lace us those little feet. Fun Fundraisers

Fun Fundraisers are available for non-profit groups. For each $10/person group rate admission Walnut Creek on Ice will donate $2 back to the non-profit organization. A check will be sent to the organization following the event. Corporate and Private Parties

Looking for a unique venue for your holiday party, but dread the details? Let our Downtown Walnut Creek on Ice friendly and knowledgeable staff help.

We offer Private Rink Rentals on Saturday mornings 10 am - 11am, Sunday mornings 9 am - 11 am and Monday  and Tuesday evenings 8 pm - 10 pm for $500/hour. The fee includes exclusive use of the ice rink and skate rentals for up to 50 guests, additional guests may be added for $10 per skater.  A corporate event at Downtown Walnut Creek on Ice can be custom tailored to include special music and catering.  Call today to book your one or two hour private party!
